Drilling
Rotary Air Blast
- Similar to R/C drilling in that a pneumatic air hammer is used. This technique differs in that the sample is expelled from the hole directly up the outside of the drill rods. Primarily used in shallow holes as there is a higher chance of sample contamination compared to R/C due to the method of sample extraction.
- Offering a range of hydrological services including drilling De-watering and test wells as well as installation and operation of testing equipment such as piezometers and pumps.
Reverse Circulation Drilling
Using a compressed air powered pneumatic hammer to crush the rock to gravel size. The sample is continuously extracted via air flow through an inner tube inside of the drill rods. Samples are usually bagged and logged every 5’/1.5m. We provide R/C drilling to a depth of 700 meters in diameters from 5” to 36”.
Diamond Core Drilling
Using a hollow center diamond impregnated drill bit to cut and extract a cylindrical core sample. This makes geological studies possible and extracting in high quantities allows geochemical studies. We offer a number of specialized coring services including:
- Triple tube (lined inner tube for improved sample integrity)
- Oriented core
- Drilling through zones with combinations of high temperature, pressure and water volume.

Underground Drilling
We operate a full range of underground drilling and support equipment allowing us to carry out any underground drilling project from active mine to abandoned historic workings. With access requirements of as little as 1 meter wide and 1 meter tall; we are ready to go in any underground mine- including vertical shaft, truck portal, or ore cart.
Remote Access Drilling
The most promising deposits are often the most difficult to reach. When the necessity arrives to drill in dense forest or on a mountainside, most companies must resort to expensive helicopter transportation or dangerous man-portable rigs. Both options heavily limit the capabilities of the drill you are trying to transport. That’s why we developed a proprietary remote access technique that allows us to safely transport a full-sized drill at a fraction of the cost of helicopter relocation. Using a series of winches and aerial sleds, we have yet to find a location we couldn’t access.
Surface Drilling
Through an easy setup, powerful equipment, and a well-organized team we can carry out surface drilling in the most efficient and cost-effective way. Regularly moving between holes in less than an hour from rods out to collaring the new hole. Rigging up to move to new drill pads takes less than an hour as does rigging down to drill at the new drill pad. We offer -45˚ to -90˚ on our dedicated surface drills with -90˚ through +70˚ positive angle up holes into high walls being available from our Omni portable surface drills. Our drilling fluid systems offer 99% recycling for reduced water usage and can operate without the need for any drilling fluid pits to be made.

High-Speed satellite internet allows us to maintain a specialized and dedicated central communication team that has 24/7 contact with the drill and crew to track drilling progress, check equipment maintenance, manage time and hourly reporting, and monitor the live biometrics of the drilling crew to avoid injury or over-exertion.
